Seeing what counts – in the laboratory, the practice and dental technology
Wherever findings are assessed, samples examined or fine work carried out, light is not a matter of comfort but a precondition for the work. Our customers use magnifying lamps in medical practices, dental laboratories, testing and analytical laboratories, pharmacies and clinics.

What matters in a professional setting
- Colour rendering: wherever colour is part of the assessment – tooth shades, samples, reagents – the lamp should reach at least Ra 90. Our 824X series is designed for that.
- Neutral light colour: 6500 K comes close to daylight and distorts colour impressions the least.
- Ease of cleaning: smooth surfaces without joints can be wipe-disinfected.
- Stability: at treatment stations a roll stand with a sufficiently heavy base is preferable to a clamp mount.
Real glass lens instead of plastic
Our magnifying lamps use glass lenses with diameters of roughly 127 to 172 mm. Glass is more scratch-resistant than acrylic, does not warp and tolerates cleaning agents far better – the decisive difference in continuous professional use.
The right design
Articulated arm for the treatment or laboratory station: quick to pull in, precisely positionable, stays where you put it. Large rectangular lens when a wider section is needed – for instance when working on models or larger samples. Roll stand when the same lamp is needed at several stations.
Frequently asked questions
Is the lamp a medical device?
No. Our magnifying lamps are workplace luminaires with magnification. They assist with visual inspection, but they are not designed as medical devices for diagnostic purposes and are not approved as such.
Can several practice stations be equipped identically?
Yes. For fit-outs of several units we are happy to prepare a quotation and check availability in a uniform colour and version. Just tell us the quantity and diopter strength you need.
Are spare parts available?
Power supplies and individual accessories can be reordered. Tell us the model number and the part you need and we will check availability.
