Frequently asked questions

Which power supply fits my magnifying lamp?

What matters is the model designation and generation (e.g. MK II or MK III) on the type plate – identical model numbers can use different power supplies depending on the generation. You will find matching replacement power supplies in our accessories; if in doubt, our service team can identify yours quickly from a photo of the type plate.

What must match on a replacement power supply?

Volts, amps and the polarity of the inner conductor must suit the lamp. The safest option is the original replacement unit for your model number; if unsure, our service team can help from a photo of the old power supply's type plate.

What does MK II or MK III mean on my lamp?

It is the product generation. Current MK III lamps run on low voltage from an external power supply, which makes them particularly safe. That is why the MK marking on the type plate matters for spare parts and power supplies.
